# Embedded Actions API
Building an AI product you'd like to connect to your users' data on external apps, but don't want to waste time building authorization infrastructure?
Soon, you'll be able to integrate your agent with our upcoming Embedded Actions API, with a few very simple endpoints. Since you'll just be using Prefix's UI to allow users to reach their apps, your user workflow will remain quite simple:
- Your users connect their app accounts and whitelist actions they'd'd like to run via your agent on Prefix
- Your AI product will be able to query all whitelisted actions– complete with function & argument descriptions, execute any one of them via Prefix, and receive the results– all with two API calls
- Other options, like simply retrieving the action's source code to run it on your own will also be available
We plan on supporting private actions, embeddable UI, and access to higher action run volumes for users of this API.
