# Announcements

We've added several convenience features to make building and running automations in Prefix substantially easier. These include:

Trigger automations to run only on new data (i.e. new rows in a google sheet)
Dynamic dropdowns to choose assets in other apps by their name, rather than by confusing ID's
Run Paths automatically on a schedule, or trigger them via a webhook

We're now turning our attention to two areas:

Creating powerful, out-of-the-box Paths that new users will find easy to see value in.
Fine-tuning our own AI model to dramatically reduce Prefix's response times while generating automations.

We've moved Prefix into a public alpha test, launching with hundreds of new actions and over 30 app integrations.

Our next few months will be focused on improving the non-technical end user experience.
